Being Artistic Runs in My Family! Who Knew?

Today, my grandpa stopped me in the kitchen and asked if I drew this (horibble-looking) drawing that was sitting on the kitchen table. I told him that I did and he revealed to me that he used to be an artist! His art even got showcased in a museum once. Knowing that my grandpa is an artist is so cool to me, I have to admit.

He told me that he can paint, draw, sketch... everything. He said that he had a lot of books, brushes, and erasers. I haven't seen them yet, but I will soon! He said that he's gonna teach me how to draw.

I'm excited to learn how to draw, especially from my grandfather. I know that he'll be a good teacher and that I'll be able to make him proud! :)

The Summer is Boring, But At Least I Have the Internet.

Anywho, I'm back from a week-long hiatus full of lots of procrastination and way too many cups of coffee. But I'll just keep you in the dark about why I left. I don't feel like typing all that has happened over the last week.

Yes, I'm that lazy.

Summer makes me feel drowsy and tired. I think the heat from the sun has the same effect on my brain as a bear's brain during hibernation. It's pretty sad.

Now, onto my boring online activities. There's been a few new pieces of art made here and there but nothing much. Tumblr is more fun since I found girls who have the same interests as me (i.e. Big Bang, fashion, and cute stuff). Twitter has become less addicting the more and more I talk to my friends on MSN.

I'm Not An Address Book...

My parents are making me upset about the new real estate office that they own. It's already bad enough that we had to go from having luxuries whenever we wanted to hardly being able to do anything... But then they make it worse with all their hyprocritical crap. Let me give you an example of my mom's most recent annoying moment:

She has the tendency to get mad at me over really dumb stuff. Today, I picked up the phone and a client named Colin answered. I told her who called and she got this big attitude. "Who's that?! I don't know who that is! Take a message!!!"

Uh, hell-ohh, I don't know who you know. My job is to answer the phone, take messages, and book appointments, not to be your walking contact list.

It's going to be hard getting used to the office life, but it would be nice to get a little respect while I work here 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, during summer break, all while not getting paid for my services.

I'm just sayin'.

I Think I Have A Twin.

I logged into my MySpace earlier today and saw the weirdest thing. There's a girl on my friend list named Yvonne Bell. Her favorite color is purple, and her family calls her "Mz. Pumpkin". My name is Char Yvonne Bell, my favorite color is purple, and my family used to call me Pumpkin. We're both African-American females that wear glasses... Ahhhh! Too freaky.

Talking About Yourself Every Day Gets Pretty Boring After A While.

Kudos to anyone who can stay loyal to their blogs everyday! I can hardly keep up with a traditional blog like this one. Tumblr is so much more easier for me to update and it's a lot more fun too, which is a big plus. However, it won't get my name out there like a traditional blog can, which is why I'm here at Blogger once again! :)
